Aliens

The "Aliens" exhibition exhibited at MITC, Melaka is a one time visit kind of an exhibition. Not worth a second visit. You have the normal admission fees but there's also royalty charges if you wish to bring in a camera or two! So you know, there are four items brought over from Universal Studios.

The full scale Alien Queen from Universal Studios, greets you as you enter the exhibition hall.

The real shit up close and personal. Doesn't get any much cooler than this.

Then there's the Ewok from Star Wars, The Return Of The Jedi.

The Predator's head.

Lastly, the Alien from X-Files.

There are still tons of other cool exhibits as you roam around the exhibition hall such as these cool creatures from our deep sea oceans.

Lomo Malaysia Rox!

You had your Flickr 24 Hours KL party. Now comes Lomo Malaysia. Watch this and be sure to watch till the end to find out when it is actually to be held! And by the way, you gotta love the intro sequence!

24 Hours Of Flickr KL

These are the freebies I got from the event. A lovely book from Blurb regarding Street Lights (I was the lucky one, 3 were only given away) and of course the 24 Hours of Flickr book. A Flickr shirt , a polaroid photo of me, tons of Flickr and Blurb buttons, Flickr stickers, lense cleaner in a handy bag and a free gift pro account. Now, thats worth a lot, not to mention the free food I had. Oh! And did I mention that the wine and beers are free low? What a night!

MIFC ~ Team Global

Anyone who went to the MIFC event in Putrajaya last Sunday, put your hands up!

Me and IK started out a few hours earlier in Putrajaya to do a little warm-up photography before the big event. Here are some of the pre-fireworks photos...

For people who have 30 bucks to spare, get the tickets to PICC. But to my point of view, it's not worth the admission price but I got the best view of all so I wouldn't gripe much!

Aren't we all psyched for August! Two huge upcoming events are just around the corner and here are the details.

The Malaysian International Fireworks Competition starts on the 18th at Putrajaya and ends on the 2nd of September with firework displays from our country Malaysia, Australia, Italy and Japan. Pick out your spot and start shooting when the clock strikes 10 p.m. For further details check out MIFC's website.

The last one will be the 24 Hours of Flickr event which will be heading over to KL for some partying. Here are the details.
