Stars On 45 - The Beatles Medley
I love the Beatles! Who doesn't? Probably the greatest and only boy band I listen too. Screw the Backstreet Boys! Screw Westlife! You suck! Anyway, I've never heard of Stars On 45 before until my dad told me of his Stars On 45 LP he had back in during the days. The collection of LP and vinyl he had are fenomenal! Back to Stars On 45, so I did a little research on wiki. Stars On 45 was a bloody big hit and you will find out why soon! First, you check out the wiki! Done? Play the video then!

I, Holga!
It seems that the lab had a malfunctioned lense that couldn't produce the required square format. Oh, it's about my first roll of 120mm film. But it's fine since I get a price cut and had a nice photography lesson from the owner of the lab. Places to go, people to meet and most importantly, directions to a professional photo lab located somewhere near Jalan Pudu. He even drew me a map. E-Six he says. Will check it out soon!

This Is Not April Fool Related!
I would like you to meet my new friend!
SciSys Explorer. Check this beauty out! Amazingly it's made during the 70s or 80s. They don't make things like this anymore!
And over here is my trusty Holga and the used but yet to be developed film. Will go process it tomorrow while I wait for those 120mm film from IK back in the UK. Oh, and LK, if you're reading this, I have recieved your package. Thanks a lot for the card dude, and we'll count postage fees when you return!

Second Roll Has Arrived!
The second entry to my lomohome weblog.
Second Roll Has Arrived!

I know it's been long since my last roll. In fact I have used a B&W roll a few weeks earlier but to my astonishment, I can't get it processed where I live.
The All Weather Supersampler would probably be my next purchase since I had gotten me the Holga Color Flash a couple days back!
Goodbye and have a nice day!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone! And maybe it's not too late to wish a Merry X'mas too. As customs to celebrations like this, I went off to celebrate in the most crowded area of Melaka town, Jonker Street. Description of yesterday's atmospheric celebrations are hard to put in words. And we know that pictures is worth a thousand words. Until I lay a few photos on those pictures! With the booze and confetti's all around, I couldn't be happier!
And not forgetting about New Year resolutions. Not that any of mine had been achieved before!
Loose some weight! Loose some weight!
Have a happy New Year everyone!

The Time It Rained & Rained!
Let me tell you of a story of no interest to you! A story of a time when it rained 48 hours continuously on one bright December, Monday morning.
I was overjoyed! Relieved! An excuse to not attend classes! But I wasn't thrilled with the prospect of a 48 hour downpour! I miss having supper!
Oh! And I feel bad for the tourist who wanted a hot climate for a change!

Lovely.
I have my share of excitement of the rainy season. I have these lovely HDR (High Dynamic Range) sunset photos to share! Sadly, I have missed those fantastic after shower skies and magnificent lightning storms a few times!
Until then! Enjoy the view!

Yahoo! Time Capsule
By the way, did anyone contributed to Yahoo! Time Capsule?
I did. I posted a photo under the Now section.
We'll see what comes out of the studies that they are going to do in 30 years time. Oh , I'm so anxious!

Nostalgia!
I was browsing through some old photos that was photographed by my dad long ago. Yes, he was a photo enthusiast! I remembered all the times he brought me to go photo hunting. It was fun posing in front of the camera.
He owns an SLR, one of the earliest models I can't seem to remember!
About the photo here, I corrected the perspective of the photo. Lens correction. Corrected exposure and colour. Then I burned the shadows to get a darker feel. Erased dust and spots. And voila.
The original was pretty destroyed. Yellow and full of dust spots.
Photo taken on June 84. Weren't born yet! And somehow, I manage to pull this photo out of the album 22 years later. Amazing!
Pretty amazing action shot! Oh, and that's my dad flying in the air.
I corrected exposure and colour. Cloned the leaves out. Burned belts and trousers and hairs. Dodge the ground. And voila.
The original was pretty destroyed. Yellow and full of dust spots. As expected from an old photograph!
Will upload original photos for comparison soon. I can't seem to get it uploaded now!

Lomohome!
All this lomography craze came from this website, Lomography.com and I've made a profile page at www.lomohomes.com/.ET.. Nothing much to see there except for the only album available there which is the first film used with the Action Sampler.
And there is a weblog too. Check out www.lomohomes.com/weblog/.ET. or just click the weblog button on my LomoHome.
Goodbye! Till the next time we meet!

Finally.
The exams are over. Hooray!
As promised, here are the pictures from the Action Sampler camera.
Well, that's about a few samples from the first roll. Still have two more undeveloped rolls. A color roll and a b&w roll. Till then.

It Takes 4.
It takes 4 Oreo McFlurry's in one week for me to realise that I'm addicted. It's so yummy I couldn't resist. It's no wonder I'm putting on a few pounds.
That sucks!

A New Toy For Me.
I got a new toy. Introducing super binocular. A binocular with a camera function.
This was taken at a distance of around 20 meters.
And to my surprise it could even get far enough to capture the moon and you could probably see the crater.

These two shows the effect of the lense when capturing images in low light. It always gives weird colours in low light.
And images turn lomo when lights are insufficient.

Pennywise Anyone?
Now here is something worth asking. Who remembers the name Pennywise?

"BEEP BEEP Richie! They all float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too.!"
Do you remember Pennywise the Clown? IT will fucking terrorise you! No one escapes from Pennywise. Years later did I only realise that I wasn't the only one who got terrorised. A friend of mine who watched IT when he was a kid got clownphobia. And still do! Released in 1986 as a book and 1990 as a mini series, Pennywise made terrifying nightmares for 6 year old kids.
Before Pennywise, clowns are funny and silly. There's also the possibility that every kid that have watched IT, wouldn't dare to traverse to the toilet alone, wouldn't sleep alone and definitely avoiding basins to wash those oily hands.
And that is why Stephen King is one bad ass novellist! I've read the book a few years ago and I still get the chills!
